Topic: Writing (01/11/07)
Writing, it is a passion, and a dream rolled into one. It is breath, life, without it I would not be who I am. I have been writing sense I was six, and for me life would not be the same with out the ability to write. With the Lord as my inspiration, for with out Him I am nothing, I am able to make people feel things they might not have thought possible. I can evoke hate, and love, passion, despair; sadness and joy. I can show people the beauty of the sunset with just a couple strokes of a pen, or the horrors of following the devil. I can evoke fear, or hope. I can give encouragement to people I don’t even know. To think that a pen holds such powers, it is humbling. Writing is a gift I can never take lightly; it is a blessing, one which I am grateful to posses. May God use my pen as He wills, and may I touch the lives of others for Him. For with God all things are possible, and with my pen I can write great things for Him, may my writing ever glorify God, and bring joy to others.

Watch your spelling a little - but your passion is intact - good job!

I enjoyed this but wish it could have been longer. A couple of typo's (sense should be since and posses should be possess). Otherwise, a good entry. Thank you for submitting it.

I've been writing since I was six too! It is amazing what one can do through pen and paper, (or computer) isn't it?

i agree. i feel like im grading a standardized test and got a short answer when i expected an essay. either that or the student wrote a nice intro and skimped o nthe body and conclusion
