I cry tears from what I see
So many homeless and desperate
Needing some Hope from Thee
Please walk these streets O Lord
Bless people and let it be known
Even in their most desperate times
You’re there and they aren’t alone
Little ones walking with toddler steps
This is the only life they know
Others are warm while sitting to feast
They’re starving while freezing in snow
Please nourish their tiny bodies Lord
With strength and Faith to get through
Maybe forgotten by an uncaring society
They’ll never be forgotten by You
Some have walked through foreign lands
Filled with fear step after step
Praying the next won’t be the last
Please Lord end this war they wept
Please give back their Hope and compassion
Theirs lost from circumstances gone through
Unselfish sacrifices have been forgotten
Their souls needing healing from You
The more fortunate walk by uncaring
Blaming them without knowing their story
In vanity thinking they done it themselves
At no time giving You the glory
Please as these people walk before You
One by one when it’s judgment day
These are the people that have the least
It’s for their souls the hardest I Pray
