Life begins in the womb and ends in the tomb. Or does it? Yes our life begins in the womb but it does not end in the tomb, except for the life of our earthly bodies. Our bodies cannot live once God calls our souls home. Our bodies are only a vessel for the soul to dwell in until that glorious day when we make that journey into the spirit realm.

‘And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.’ Gen. 2:7 KJV.

‘…And this mortal must put on immortality.’ 1 Cor.15:53 KJV.

Our earthly bodies will die, but just like Jesus, we will rise again. When He rose from the dead He had a new body, which the disciples did not recognize at first. This symbolizes that we will one day have new bodies as well. New and heavenly bodies, which will not die, grow old, nor will get sick, but will live forever.

So life is a gift that God gave to us when He breathed the breath of Life into Adam, which is passed down to every soul before it has even seen the light of this world. A precious gift that we must not waste, but live it to the fullest for the Lord Jesus Christ. We must believe that He died and rose again for our sins so that when He returns He will not cast us into the pit of eternal damnation. But instead take us to his Mansions on high, to live with him forever and ever.
