The closing date for our land and home package what joy that call would bring.
This would be our very first home a prayer God heard for years.
Finally the phone rang with a date, my eyes then filled with tears.
So much we had been through before that day arrived.
From watching the sewer system being installed to when they paved the our drive.
My prayers kept being said when things kept going wrong.
I cried to God so many times while trying to be strong.
When God says no he speaks to us through curcumstances in our lives.
We should be still and know his will is where our hope lies.
A perfect example of God saying no.
When the lawn mower explodes while my husband tries to mow.
God once again reminded me that he was their.
My husband's life nearly taken his life God had spared.
Eight acres of land around ours including the the two our mobile home would set on.
Filled with flames that could be seen for miles, I wondered where God had gone.
After the fire was put out I looked where our front door would soon be.
Lied two pieces of lumber in the shape of a cross, that was God's reminder his presence was still with me.
Hope is the voice of God speaking when noone else seems to hear your heart.
Hope carries us through life's journeys no matter where they start.
After all that had happened we were finally clossing the deal.
When once again God said no, I was devestated my heart cried out,"Why", God's answer, "this my child is not my holy will".
All packed and ready to move with the help of our out of state family.
Our payments were not in the price range we had been told they would be.
We did not sign the papers and left the bank shaking and crying all the way home.
Our dreams shattered and no place to call our own.
When God says no we should listen as Blessings will soon pour down.
Once again we had to search for our dream not sure it would ever be found.
The following week we started looking for another home to buy.
I refused to go with my husband, for more than heart broken I felt it had died.
Anxious to have me look at a home the first one he had found.
I went with hesitation while listening for God's will to sound.
A brick home with a pool in the back yard too.
I was a little overwhelmed and not sure of what to do.
The house was much bigger with two pine trees in the front yard.
As I looked up into the trees two limbs like hands holding one another, the decision at that moment was not very hard.
When God says no I soon realised there is a reason why.
That reason is our hope that we often hide inside.
With great joy we finally were moving into a home we could call our own.
Knowing God had blessed us not only had our faith been renewed, our hope had also grown.
When God says no I listen and shall never doubt his answer to be wrong.
It is that voice that gives me hope, just knowing no matter what journey we travel God to shall come along.
