Topic: Hope (05/04/06)
HOPE
The sign said HOPE as big as life all lit up with white Christmas lights. Is that what it’s supposed to look like? What does one’s life look like with hope? Are you filled with positive thoughts? After all what good is life if you don’t have a positive outlook, HOPE. Positive thoughts is that all it is? Does HOPE involve pain and torture? Watching all those people walking around that track do they really have, HOPE. Is HOPE making it through a deadly disease? Is it just looking death in the face as one wins?

Did Bin Laden have HOPE? Is watching death happen to all those innocent people jumping from a building HOPE to him? Saddam Hussein looked at death and laughed as he watched those innocent citizens being tortured and killed did that give him HOPE?

As they watched our innocent Savior being tortured and pierced did that give them HOPE?

Did He our Blessed Savior have, HOPE when He was pierced three times after being beaten half to death. Looking down at those whose sins held Him to his cross; as they cheered the guards on to crucify Him, did he have HOPE then? Is it different today from that day? Did He have HOPE that one day people would be free and at peace like He? Is there Hope in the world today?

Hope He gives us Hope when we ask for it. Our Blessed Savior still has HOPE Do you?

Some nice ides here - I'd urge you to have the confidence to give yourself a little more voice and expand them.

I am sorry, but this piece is rather thought provoking, but in a negitive way. There are several good points made but nothing runs together. As thought your thoughts upon writing it were just seeking more question to fill the page. If you had taking just a few of the points and built upon them it would have flowed better. Again I am sorry, but it is how it came across.
