How we live our lives, who we serve, what we share, how much we give away, how much we hold onto, where we go, who we visit, and what we hold dear in our hearts all has a great impact on how we reach the end, not if we reach the end.
The end is a final destination. A time we will come to regardless of whether we have given much thought to this or not. It is an experience in our lives to look forward to as well as remember.
When we look back from the end, we will be able to see what really mattered. Whether we gave much thought to the end of our journey or not. In the end, only the inbetween that brought us to that place will be of significant value.
So let's consider the end in our lives. Not just the inbetween time. If we are thoughtful of how we live during our lives, the end can be a place in time we are excited about. A time we rejoice in with humble expectations. We can look back and see if we have run the race of life with little regret, much anticipation and overall victory.
The end cannot be avoided, but can surely be a place in our lives we rest in. We can be thankful we had the opportunity to run the race in the first place. It is the essence of the beginning and the final lap of the inbetween. The end is a notable mark in time where we have finally reached, the race is done and our journey as we have ever known it is finished.
