Nice progression, sensitive. Well done from my perspective.

I like your characters, and the situation is realistically portrayed. To make it more than a sermon with dialog, add little bits of description and action. A stumbling waiter, a wailing toddler at the next table...and be carful of switching from past to present tense. Great ending--hopeful, but not "all wrapped up."

I really liked the way you didn't act the part of "I told you so." That is what friendship does, listens and loves. Has the spiritual ears. I agree with Jan, she has some great thoughts we can all learn from. Thanks for sharing, and God bless, littlelight

Your story reminds me of a verse in 1 Corinthians l3 that I just read: "Love is patient and kind. it is not arrogant or rude.....endures all things." Allison has shown that love for her sister Sue and joyfully thanks the Lord for His answer to her prayer.
