Lovely poem, but I'm still trying to figure if it is Mother and Child or something bigger; but the "coo" etc, makes me confused. Still, it is lovely...and a good job.

Good job with the internal rhyme scheme, and the end of all 10 couplets having the same rhyme. Very sweet poem.

I like the way this seems to shift from Mother speaking to God speaking. I love when writers bring out the feminine side of our heavenly father. Your rhyme scheme is amazing. The meter i the couplets misses the beat once in awhile. For example in couplet 7 I would leave our "your" and in couplet 8 I would leave out "it". To me, those couplets read more rhythmically with those words omitted. Thanks for a delightful poem on this topic!
