Beautiful job and message.
Blessings~
This is lovely and speaks to the heart. The timing gives me goosebumps as I've no doubt God planned for me to read this right now, in the midst of my winter of pain. I need to also remember to call Jesus. Even if that's the only word I can get out amongst the pain, you showed it is all I really need. You did a great job of writing on topic without overusing the word. And your message is quite profound.
Hi...You are an very sensitive and well-spoken poet; a real joy to read. Good cadence and rhyme. You are right: We need sunshine and rain to grow. I can see you love the LORD very much. Your piece is an inspiration and very reassuring. Love the rainbow after the rain line. Keep up the good work!
Your message was excellent, pointing the reader to holy living and eternal truths.

I haven’t tried writing poetry, so I hesitate to critique your piece. I was troubled by the flow in some of the stanzas. It seems certain words could be removed or improved to maintain the rhythm.

You also changed from first person, (I) to third person (God, Jesus).

Wonderful job for a beginning writer. Poetry seems difficult. Guess that’s why I haven’t tried it. Don’t give up on it. RAIN AND PAIN was really quite good.
