Topic: NOISE (05/03/18)
I think that God knew there would be many voices, and distractions clamoring for our attention. That's why He told us " My sheep know my voice and another they will not follow." It is important for us to identify the noise in our lives. God's voice is still and small(1 Kings 19:12).



Have you ever been in a place where everyone is talking all once? Now add television and radio to that mix. How well could you hear? In these situations, you search for a quiet place.



In this day and time, many voices are speaking to us all at once. Television commercials are telling you, you are not enough unless you have their products. The radio plays songs that tell you, you will never be one of the cool people. Every standard they make always changes.



Shut off the noise so you can hear the Truth. Listen to what His still small voice says. Yahweh says You are enough. You are perfect and loved. God says you are a jewel in His crown. You are accepted by Yahweh. He is enamored with His masterpiece.

We are God's workmanship. Let God's words be the only sound you hear.



Unplug, sit, and rest in Him. Yahweh longs to hold you and whisper in your ear what only He can tell you. " I love you, my Beloved." "I Am always here." "I will never leave you or forsake you."



Sometimes just knowing Yahweh is in the room is all we need. His presence is enough to shut up all the other voices in our lives. The Truth will set you free. As a result whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

This is a great mini-sermon. I liked the verse you chose for your message and it fits perfectly. I did notice you switched your voice from first person singular to the universal you and then to first person plural. You did a great job of writing on topic without overusing the topic word. Your message is perfect for today's world. I can relate as I always have noise in my background. You made me realize I need to turn off the TV in order to better hear God speak to me.
