Boredom is an invitation to a conversation. Just like an indicator light on your car, boredom lets you know that there is a deeper internal issue that needs your immediate attention. Such a conversation can launch you into a revelation about who you are in Christ and what God’s will is for your life. God knows that only when you explore the “deep waters†of your heart will you be able to draw out the solutions that will end your restlessness. So today, instead of being bored, you should allow this feeling to propel you into God’s healing presence. He is the master designer who can provide you with the new insights that will help you grow into a wise person of understanding.
