Where God’s glory makes everything bright,
His constant compassion removes all fears,
No more illness or death, and no more tears.
Imagine walking on streets of gold,
Talking with all the saints from old,
Hearing all about God’s amazing grace,
There’s no more sin, not even a trace.
Imagine living without any strife,
Eating fruit from the trees of life,
Looking into a river that’s crystal clear,
Feeling God’s love so real and so near.
Imagine reaching that wonderful shore,
Hearing praises sung like never before,
WOW! Our Holy Father on His glorious throne,
Sitting exalted on His right is our Cornerstone.
Imagine the joy flowing deep and wide,
As His Holy Spirit takes us up by His side,
Love, comfort, and peace are everywhere,
As His words “Welcome Home”, fill the air.
“And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” (Revelation 22:1-2 NKJV)
