Forced to consider leaving a community we are part of;
It feels like this community is good for us and we are good for it
It feels like there is no new suitable community in sight
Unclear
Even for a good reason it would be hard to leave
But our understanding of the reasons leave us feeling confused
From our understanding of the reasons they seem disconnected from the actual situation
Unknown
Our current community seems to fit our whole family’s needs
Our current community seems to help our long term struggles
Our current community seems to help us make use of the gifts we’ve been given.
Will we find another one that is good for our particular family and health situation?
Will we find another one that makes use of some specific responsibilities we’ve been given?
Unfamiliar
And even if there was a good reason to leave and start anew,
and even if we found the perfect new community
There would be a period of exhausting transition
Another period of transition after we have just been through that and settled in
Unsure
It seems unwise to tear ourselves away from something good
But it’s hard to stay part of our current community when there is uncertainty
It’s hard for our current community to keep us part of them when there is uncertainty
