It was the night before the test and all through the dorm
Everything was in order, everything was norm
We studied like students who did really care
We read our material; we even had prayer
I was ready! I put away those things that easily distract, and spent the night going over my notes over and over and over again. Nothing could go wrong, right? Well, my alarm clock took the morning off and did not alert me of my need to get out of bed; like it had done faithfully for the past several years. The hot water in the dorm also took the day off, and left us to shower in the freezer.
But still in all, I made it out the door. I would make it to the test on time. The challenges in front of me were not going to be enough to defeat me. I was going to make it. Upon arrival, my college professor greeted me with a snarl, and welcomed me to the midterm exam. I was happy to have made it there; until I saw some of the questions on the exam. I became enraged when I saw that one section was devoted to Ramen Noodles! Was this supposed to be some kind of joke? I became more and more angry by the second, and decided that I would confront my instructor after class.
I asked him about the test. I asked him if Ramen Noodles was meant to be a joke. I asked why he would make light of what quite possibly may be the most important test in my life. I became angrier when he claimed that he had no clue of what I was talking about.
I handed him the test. The tension level increased when he asked me what section I was thinking of. I pointed to the one on Ramen Noodles. I told him that his joke was not funny. He looked at the paper; then at me. He then began to laugh hysterically. I became angrier.
He looked at me and informed me that I misread what he put on the test. The section on Ramen Noodles was actually a section on Roman Numerals. MIX, the instructor said, was not how you add butter to the noodles. I merely wanted you to convert the Roman Numerals MIX to a number. MIX is actually equal to 1,009.
Embarrassed, I shook his hand and politely excused myself from his presence.

The only suggestion I would make is to correct the punctuation.
Well written.
Be careful with your use of semicolons; they should only be used to join independent clauses (as I did here).
In addition, some of your story read as a bit of hyperbole. The professor's reaction to your question, for example, was a bit over the top. And it seems to me that the sort of test that's the most important test of a college student's life wouldn't contain a junior high-level question on Roman numerals.
Nevertheless, this entry has a lot going for it. It's got a fresh voice and an appealing, self-deprecating humor.
