I’m coming clean today. This has been weighing heavily on my soul. I’m an undercover foodie.
Usually, I keep my prized recipes in a stash so as to prepare and sample gourmet meals alone but not this time— the conviction of God’s Spirit was irresistible.
Here’s my private for-your-eyes-only recipe for a happy marriage. I call it ‘Marriage Bolognese.’
Count yourself blessed to be among one of those who get the rare privilege to take a peek into my food vault.
So, for the first time ever, here’s my formula for a strong enduring marriage:
Ingredients
2kg Commitment Spaghetti
500g Fresh Communication Mince
4 Rashers of Parental Detachment Bacon,
finely diced
750ml Bottle of Lovemaking Oil
2 Oneness Onions (peeled & finely diced)
75g Freshly grated Romance Cheese,
plus extra for grating over
2 Kids Chili (optional)
1 Small Bottle of Imported (& Expensive) Grace Grease
Handful of Prayer Basil, plus extra for garnish
2 Tins of Soft Hearts
6 Loyalty Tomatoes
Joy Pepper
1 Bottle of Holy Ghost Wine
Word Salt for seasoning
1 teaspoon of Amorous Getaways
Method
1.Preheat a large God’s Presence saucepan at medium heat on an Independent Space stove (even a shack or one room will do). Grease your pan generously with grace so that your ingredients don’t stick and stay tender. Add two oneness onions, rashers of parental detachment bacon, and prayer basil. Fry for about 8-10 minutes until your vegies have softened.
2.Next, increase heat to high, add communication mince and stir until the meat is golden brown. Cover the pan to ensure that flies of toxic friends, meddling relatives, and carnal Christians don’t sneak in.
3.Stir in your tins of soft hearts (tender hearts are best because they don’t contain bitter unforgiveness, found in hard hearts, which spoils the dish) Add your remaining herbs, and if using, kids chili to give it a pungent taste. Chop your loyalty tomatoes and throw them in as well.
4.Give everything a stir with a wooden cross spoon and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to medium and add more prayer basil. Leave it to simmer for 1hr 45min until the flavors develop into a thick rich sauce. Add one or two tots of piquant Holy Ghost wine to get the bite and consistency you desire.
5.Just as the sauce is almost done, add romance cheese and season to taste. Meanwhile boil rare commitment spaghetti for two hours according to Bible Covenant packet instructions. (Note: the two minute contract type noodles won’t do.) Once your spaghetti is ready, throw it as well. Give it all a good stir, generously splashing lovemaking oil (as much as you like). Serve with grated romance cheese. Garnish with a pinch of amorous getaways.
Serving Suggestions
1.Serves two people only, no more, no less.
2.Best served scorching hot. Once it gets cold a thick crust of infidelity quickly forms on top.
3.Wash down with a glass of Holy Ghost wine.

Do this right and you’ll add zing to your marriage until your colleagues ask what on earth your secret source is.
This dovetails nicely into my next point.
Now that I’ve let you in on my secret, I’d like you to take a vow of silence. Don’t tell a soul, no matter what. Not your friend, not your pastor, and listen to this, not even your spouse.
Think it’s impossible? Not at all.
