I think you did a nice job on this topic. You definitely covered the topic without being too detailed. You used great Scripture references that really back up your message too.

Personally, I think you might pull more people in if you started off with the story about meeting Steven. The way it's written right now feels more like a lecture to me. I believe by switching the order a bit, the reader will be able to relate more. I think everyone can understand that feeling of not wanting to be alone.

I can feel your passion as I read your story. You made some great points that will make the reader stop and think and that's always a good thing. If you haven't checked out the message boards yet, I'd urge you to. There is a whole section devoted to writing for the challenge. There's also a thread called Jan's Writing Basics which gives great advice for all levels of writers. I look forward to reading more of your work. You did a good job with this piece.

A lot of great truth herein! I love the way you took 1 Corinthians 13 to show how opposite Lust reacts in life in the same order. You touched on properties of lust that most people never consider! You must of been Spirit taught to come to these conclusions - good job on this one!
The comparison between love and lust was bang on!
