It may surprise you to find out,
In the Bible, what seven’s about.
Complete and or perfect is what it means.
When creation came on the scene,
God rested on the seventh day.
We still count our weeks in this way.
Joshua marched around Jerico.
The seventh time the walls did go.
More than seven times to forgive,
Keep forgiving for Jesus to live.
Shadrack, Meshach, Abednego,
In Furnace seven times hotter did go.
God delivered them from all harm,
By the power of His mighty arm.
In Revelation sevens are thus:
Seven churches, seals, trumpets, plus
Seven figures, vials, dooms, new things.
A lot of food for thought it brings.
Do not forget the Shunammite
Whose son was her joy and delight.
When he died, in her great distress,
She begged Elisha to come and bless.
He came, prayed, and on the son laid.
Then the son seven sneezes made,
Achoo, achoo, achoo, achoo,
Achoo, Achoo, achoo, what did he do?
Opened his eyes and looked around.
The families happiness did abound.
