This is wonderful. Held my interest throughout and had a wonderful message. You might want to do smaller paragraphs to make it easier to read but other than that this touched my heart. Thank you and keep writing.

Guilt can be the heaviest load we carry in life. Only God can truly absolve us of our guilt and wash the slate clean! This is a well written article. A suggestion: for easier reading, leave spaces between the paragraphs:)

You wrote a very good story..one that many can relate to. I was once told to let the story tell itself and not me tell the reader everything..there may be a few sentences you could leave out as you described the scene so well that the reader has already made that conclusion. Just a thought! nice writing and keep on!

The POV shifts in the early sections really bothered me, the story though held up until the end when it appeared to be hurried. Wonderful plot and descriptions - break up the paragraphs and work a little on stucture and you have a good one.

It's good.
I love the line: "The sorrow invaded Tommy"

Wow. Spookiness.

And the symbolisim in the washing of the raincoat.

You have it Karen! You just need some polishing.
Get a writer friend to look it over and fix it before posting.
I'd be happy to help. My e-mail is up on my FW page, if you want to e-mail.
