“Odd you say?”
“Not really I answer…for I have locked away in my heart favorite memories stored like treasure for future use in my own mind’s eye. Packed away they are out of sight from prying eyes. Today, I choose to unlock love recent past to relive for a day the seasons of our love.
Memories are reminiscences escaping from the mind into the heart. Mysterious treasure stored in gray matter reflecting places, people and experiences trapped in a moment of time. Wise is the one who recognizes this deep well stored in the soul.
In the spring of my life you brought me your love. A season filled with new birth. First, our love followed by continued seeds of life… our children.
In the summer of my life the full foliage of life bloomed, growing pains! This season summed up in one word, strife…“me, my, mine” echoed claims emanating from parent and children alike.
In the autumn of my life disaster stuck…a time consumed by overwhelming events brimming with a vehement perpetual struggle to survive poor health, loss of wealth followed by physical death…not mine my love but yours!
Aha…but during the season of our earthly lives we discovered yet another new life ushering in the true spring of life. This time…this birth of life is spiritual and eternal. Having been born again we are new creatures beginning a journey without end ...not of our making my love… but His.
And so…my love, in the winter of my life here on earth, from time to time I will nourish my soul with earthly treasures stored. I am not alone in this winter season of my life. For He is with me and I know I shall see you again. Until then my love I will remember…sweet memories.

A well thought out piece.
My advice would be to double check how you used quotation marks and ellipses. I think there were times when you didn't need them.
I appreciate your courage in sharing such intimate parts of your life and I enjoyed the read.
