When I was a child, every thing made me cry
Always afraid when No one, Is with me
Always wanting to have my way
But now that I have grown, everything makes
me pray
Never afraid because am not alone
“FEAR NOT! AM WITH THEE”
Now that I have grown, I always allow him to
have his way in my life.
When I was a child, I thought life was all
about food.
But now that I have grown, I know, life itself is
more important than food.
When I was a child, I never give but always
expectant to receive
But now that I have grown I know giving
Is above receiving.
When I was a child, I always needing everyone’s
Attention, always wanting to be attended to
But now that I have grown, I give attention to
all those that are in need.
Lord, am no longer a child. Help me
not to be moved by people’s opinion
Not to be controlled by my feelings
but by you
My childhood made me think what was not right:
Made me think that life is all about me.
And me alone.
My childhood in Christ made me think I got
Saved for my self.
Always wanting to be feed with milk of the world
But now that am matured in him -
Life is all about him and his will
All I want to eat is the bone of the word
