Previous Challenge Entry (Level 1 – Beginner)
Topic: Summer (the season) (07/09/09)
The sky is dark. They say your job is done. They have closed the plant. You pray.

The thunder cracks. The bills begin to pile up. You pray some more.

The lighting strikes. The bill collectors begin to call. You continue to pray.

The wind blows. No job here to find. And you are willing to do anything. Again you pray.

The rain falls. Your spouse and children begin to look at you with questions. You tell them to continue to pray

Another stormy summer day. Yet another day goes by with no job, no money and no answers. Yet another prayer goes up.

Then the sky begins to clear. You find a job. You say thank you.

You see the rainbow. It is better than the one you had before. You give praise.

The sun shines. You are back on your feet able to pay the bills and have more than you ever envisioned before. You worship.

The Lord has once again calmed the storm in your life. He again did it for you because he loves you.

That is amazing love.

What can you do what can you say when the worst storm comes to your life?

Pray, give thanks, and worship through it and see what the Lord will do.

Let the summer storm begin.

Hi Connie. I just wanted to leave a quick note to let you know your entry, Summer Storms, actually did very well in the Summer Challenge. Although you didn't receive an award, you made it into the Highest Rankings for Level 1, placing 13th in that Level.

The competition is always intense in Level 1, so you deserve a pat on the back. :-)
