Topic: Up and Down (04/02/09)
So once again, I failed you.
And once again, I tried to.
And once again, I need to.
But once again, I didn’t.

I wish everything would be all lovely and nice and fuzzy and warm. But sometimes in life things don’t always go the way I’ve always thought it would be.

So then again, I tried to.
And once again, I seemed to.
And once again, I looked to.
But once again, I didn’t.

I know this is not a good thing. And at the same time my heart tells me that what I’m thinking right now is exactly the opposite of what my body is doing. Its been carrying on for weeks, and then months, and I fear it’ll turn to years.

So once again, I pray.
And once again, I wait.
And once again, I listened.
But once again, I didn’t.

I just want to be back in Your house.
I’ve simply wandered far enough.

I like the structure of this melding of prose and poetry. Winsome and touching.

I don't really see the topic here, although if I stretch I can see it implied.

Love the alliteration in the title, which perfectly matches the poem. Well done.
