“Ripe For Spiritual Challenge” 1-7-09

The United States of American is a magnificent land that sways with many influences and cultures.

Greatly influenced by Christianity in the founding days by white man, its ancient history speaks volumes of humanity living on a survival level with many different customs in their various cultures.

More recently we see influence from many additional cultures and ‘diversity’ is the watchword! We’re told that Judeo-Christian values are considered by the masses to be passé. Really?!

How has this happened? In a nation of diversity, why is the European founding culture now the ‘underdog?’ Spiritual values of our fore-fathers are not allowed to be expressed in places of authority and training. How did this happen?
Is the answer found in the:
• Compassionate spirit that allowed the influx of the masses?
• Complacency – expecting the ‘Lord to divert’ or a ‘let someone else do it’ attitude?
• Mindset that we are invincible – with no wars in our homeland for generations that would bring us to reality?

I believe prayer warriors will be effective with unseen - as well as unbelievably visible results. Many of the masses are ready to slow down, get back to basics and return to their spiritual roots – Judeo-Christianity.

I believe many individuals will display a ‘Quiet, Holy Boldness’ and say: “I am also an individual with the right to share, be seen, be heard and still be respected, even if you and I are different!”

I believe in the Biblical Scripture:
‘If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sins and heal their land!’ 2 Chronicles 7:14 (New Living Translation)

“In God We Trust” will remain our pledge for our great USA.
