A brilliant energy invades the shapeless horizon, splitting the darkness. Shadows withdraw and a new master claims the Earth.
There it was – the first day.
"Let there be an expanse between the waters!"
The ocean tears apart, drawn both up and down at the same time. A great volume of water circles high over the oceans now, a great dome of liquid. A blue sky now stands between the dome and the great ocean beneath. They are to remain separate for now. A celestial audience watches in awe, on this, the second day.
"Let dry ground appear!"
A great island rises to part the ocean, forcing it to concede much territory. Tidal waves crash against the island in protest, powerless against the rising force of the land. A great host of angels sing of the power being displayed this day. Trumpets sound and voices cry out over the roar of the waves.
"Let there be life!"
The very breath of the Almighty blows over the great island, causing many trees and other plants to rise up towards the heavens. They rock gently in the life-giving wind. The great choir carries their song through this, the third day.
"Let there be two great lights, to mark night and day!"
One dim light shimmers over the Earth. The breath of the Almighty fuels it as a great fire and it burns to its core. The shadows promptly fall under the trees, hidden from the scouring gaze of the sun. Countless dim lights spark across the sky as the sun withdraws for the first. The stars bless the Earth and bow before the great shine, which watches over the Earth in the sun's absence. The sun's inaugural coronation marks the end of the fourth day.
"Let life live and breath, and spread throughout the waters and the air!"
Plants give up their fruit for the Almighty's new guests. The waters begin to sway and flow with the beating of a trillion fins. A bird cries out across the virgin landscape, beckoning the Master to continue His work. The birds lie dormant and rest at the closing of the fifth day.
"Let life explore and wander over this land that I have created!"
Many tiny footprints now cover the Earth, as the stone crumbles and mixes with plant–life. A young mammal digs in the fresh soil. The angels examine these creatures closely, fascinated by the Almighty's latest works. They watch in amazement as the Almighty continues his work on the sixth day.
"Let life think and feel! Let it build and create, as I have created! Let breath with my very breath. In my own image – let there be man!"
The breath of the Almighty God, Alpha and Omega, Master of the Universe stirs up the dust and circles around and around. The crowning achievement of creation takes in his first breath. He looks out at the world that he has been placed on and sees that it is good. The Creator watches over the man with great satisfaction, enjoying the look of wonder in his eyes. The man is overjoyed at the site of his new home, and yet one final brilliance seems to be missing. He looks up at the Almighty, trusting Him to provide this unknown thing that his heart desires.
"It is not good that man is alone. I will provide a companion for him, and they will be of one flesh."
The man falls into a great sleep, and his very bone is taken from him. The Almighty's breath flows through that bone, and it is made beautiful and whole.
The Creator saw that all that He had made was good, and He set in motion a great cycle of new birth and discovery – the game of life.
