My mom often told me, “Wait my dear, God has his ways and time.” When I was in my youth, I wanted to be a youth worker, then years later- a counselor. And now a writer. For years I have been in and out of small-time opportunities in my life, but none for long or for full time.
All these years it was really difficult for me to wait. People used to quote Moses’ example for waiting period. I was not sure if I could wait that long.
But as time passed by, I understood the real meaning of patience. And it was during those times that God developed this virtue in me. I understood that patience is developed, not by being idle or indifferent, but by expecting, hoping and waiting. God is still working patience in me and I know that in His time He will use me for His kingdom and glory.

I might expand a bit on this - use some examples, maybe, to give some more of a concrete sense of your ideas.
A lesson we all need to remember. Thanks for sharing it.
May God bless.
