I carry them alone
Pains of the past;
Locked up inside
No room for tears;
I have to be strong
I keep going on;
It’s all up to me
No one to trust;
Not even myself
I wear the mask;
No one must see
Until one memorable day;
I could no longer go on
Falling to my knees;
I cried out to God
I gave up right there;
That day I died
One season ended;
Another began
I was given new life;
Lost but now found
