He not only had to be fed and diapered and I had to babysit, but he bit and he bit hard. He bit my sister and he bit me. That was only the beginning of the trauma. At the ripe age of three, he would chase after me riding his tricycle. There was no place to escape in our three room tarpaper shack, except into the bathroom. I would run in there and hold the button on the door knob to lock the door and keep the tyrant out.
Later, we would go to the park after my mom learned to drive. The bratty brother was still at it. He would get out of the car and wouldn’t come. We would try everything to coax him into the car. My sister would hang out of the car crying frantically “my brother, my brother, don’t leave without my brother.”
Well, the brat grew up, went in the army and served our country, but has trouble finding work at the ripe old age of 54, even had two daughters and he’s not so bad now. He even helped buy me computers, install software, and taught me to play Mah Jong on the computer. Man, I wish I had $1 for every second I played that game: I would never have to work again.
