My Uncle Jerry was a very faithful man . He loved his family and his sister’s family very much. The reason I know this, is he would give so much of his time for them.
My mom was a single mom and my uncle Jerry gave his all. He fixed up our house when my dad left my mom. And made us a brand new home . He also let us have sleep over‘s at his house. One night, I remember he knelt down behind the foot of the bed and asked” if we asked Jesus into our heart“. We said “no “ and that night we said the sinners prayer with him.
I will always remember his faith in Christ and his giving spirit. My Uncle was very blessed and giving at Christmas time was a joyful time for him. We would go to the back of his car and open the trunk and show me all the toys he was going to give away to all the unfortunate children who couldn’t have a Christmas. God gave him many blessing’s and he gave back to others.
Years later when my children were about 11 or 12 my uncle got very sick and died. I didn’t get to see him before passed on . I did want to thank him for his faithfulness and caring heart. I think of all of my uncle’s he was the one that made me see who Christ . Today he has left me with wonderful memories of time spent with him . I know that he is enjoying his time with Jesus .
