I don’t know where to turn
The darkness crowds all around me
The fear inside me burns
A friend asked me to visit her
At church one Sunday morn
The amazing words I did hear
That I could be reborn
I hear Jesus was crucified
For the remission of our sins
About how Jesus bled and died
So I could be born again
How Jesus conquered death and the grave
So I could live in grace
I felt the tears running down
upon on my startled face
The altar call it finally came
My heart it danced with joy
As I leapt up from my chair
I gave my heart to the king or Kings
Now I rest safely in His care
So if the darkness surrounds your life
You feel the stress and hate the strife
There is one who will make you whole
He paid for you the ultimate cost
For Jesus you are the only goal
He came to save the lost
Jesus made a Royal Sacrifice
All that you must do is pray
A very simple prayer
All that you must do tonight
Is say Lord Jesus come into my life
I want to rest in your loving care
Ask Him today

Jesus made a Royal Sacrifice

You might want to tweak it a bit for rhythm and meter--try for a pattern of stressed and unstressed syllables per line. It flows better for the reader that way.
