I agree with you that we must take time to grow spiritually before we become a leader in ministry. Great exhortation and reminder for all of us as Christians.

I also liked the way you used a personal experience of your own to give the reader a connection point to the message. Nicely done.
Excellent advise and from personal experiences is always good.

Good message!
This is a good devotional. I liked the verse at the beginning.
Good job...keep writing.
I think you hit it right on here! Good example.
Very wise words and right on the topic.
It is so unwise - and unfair - to throw new believers into the battle without first training them.

Well-packaged lesson. Good job!
I like this testimony, it is very encouraging and very true of new believers. Thank you for sharing this piece. ^_^

Excellent devotional. Your wondering about the verse draws in the reader.

One thing I did stumble over, the wording of "Ten years after my walk with Lord" sounds like you are no longer walking with the Lord. Obviously from the rest of the devotional, this is not true, so I think you simply missed a word.

Great job bringning your own experience into it. This always makes a devotional more personal and less preachy. Keep up the good work.

You've done a wonderful job describing the steps a new Christian should take before assuming responsibilities of leadership in the church. Your points are well made, and your command of English is very good! Enjoyed this devotional.
