At the pulpit,
stands a man,
a man with great faith.

At the pulpit,
stands a man,
who leads people to Christ

At the pulpit,
stands a man,
who hears from God,
but doesn't always use them

At the pulpit,
stands a man,
who is in the Word daily
and on his knees in prayer.

At the pulpit,
stands a man,
who visits the sick in the hospitals
and shares eulogies at funerals.

At the pulpit,
stands a man.
a man that is no different from me.
The man at the pulpit is human,
not perfect,
still sins.

At the pulpit
stands a man.
A man that may not receive the credit that he deserves.

This man
That stands every Sunday, Wednesday, whenever the church doors are open
is a man of God.
He loves God with His whole heart.

I'm not saying he is perfect,
because no man is perfect.
But, he has a deep relationship with the one and only perfect One.

At the pulpit
Stands THIS man!
