Previous Challenge Entry (Level 1 – Beginner)
Topic: Write something in the YOUNG ADULT or TEEN genre (06/07/07)
Here I am Lord on my way to work again but you
already knew that didn’t you! My journey with you is so
adventurous sometimes I’m way up on that mountain
and sometimes I’m down in that valley. I think it’s times
in between when I am most comfortable its kind of like
being in limbo not up or down just a nice mellow
in between. I know it’s the trials that make us all strong
its hearing from you God that makes them worth while
not only are we more intimate with You and we get to
know You better but we actually learn exactly how strong
we really are. I love when it all comes together like when
You speak through people and books, music and yes even
to your heart, that audible voice that comes to me when
I’m driving down the road and You say that one thing! WHAT!
Is that you Lord? What a funny thing to say.
So you start to think about it and it makes perfect sense.
You begin to think I get it! You’re not done with me yet,
well that’s pretty obvious I can feel your nudging me all the
way to the next town! I have heard people say how can you
believe in a God you can’t see? I say how can you not?
How sad it makes you father to see this crazy world making
all these mistakes. My Father my God says it’s up to me to
try and change these people by being a good witness
to them WOW! Is that ever hard, I say Father what
am I suppose to do? My own life is so crazy! My God
says but you have me to lean on they have nothing but
the world and all the crazy directions its going in. They are
constantly going around the same mountain over and over again.
You can be that light the example of my love
if you do it, they will come! Remember when you came to me?
You saw the light and now it’s up to you to be the light.
It’s that old saying what goes around comes around.
Oh Lord I love you so much but I can’t do this without you!
I know that is whyI left the comforter, I gave you a sword
a helmet and a shield I even gave you shoes I give you total
access to myself any time you need me I’m there all you
have to do is ask! Oh father, you must love me a whole
lot to put up with all the nonsense that I give you. I know
what is right and what is wrong but sometime I get so confused
with all the world has to offer! I do love you so much I know
you are there every time I cry out in pain, every time I am sad
and especially when I am happy, you love to see your children
with smiling faces and happy thoughts I know this brightens your
day and gladdens your heart! Well as you know I’m here.
I have to go punch in now. But you know what?
I’m going to do my best to bring you lost souls because
I just love to HEAR you smile! Talk to you on the way home.

Well done!!
I thought it may flow smoother if you maybe put God's words in itallics, then you would not have to say God said and I said. Anyways I did enjoy this because I tend to have ongoing dialogue in my head with my Best Friend too :D
