The instrument
That has been crafted
And assembled by the Maker’s hand.
With much care,
It has been perfected
With precision and detail.
For in the quiet hours of the night;
And the early hours of the dawn,
It is being written.
The lyrics that have been penned,
Are being sung,
Together with what has been made.
They are inscribed within me.
The very core of my heart,
They are sweet melodies.
For I am the song that He has written,
Each day God tells of His unfailing love
It has been poured upon me.
I will sing and praise and give Him thanks.
For my sustenance and life
He is the source.
For my strength, my hope and my salvation,
Comes from God.
I trust in Him for help and my heart is filled with joy.
I am confident that He who begun a good work in me,
He will perfect it to the end.
I am in wonder and amazement of it all.
I am at rest knowing that He won’t let go of me.
God will forever be writing and playing His song
Out in me.
I surrender to His touch.
