Write it down! Write it down! If it’s valuable at all – write it down!
Is it something Jesus taught you as you read beside the fire?
Did you dream, and did it seem that you should crawl out of a mire?
Did a thought come to your notice – something Jesus might desire?
Write it down, write it down, write it down!
Chorus:
Did your friends do something special when your birthday came around?
Did you stop the better to discern the nature of a sound?
Did you find a neat new saying in a book that you had found.
Write it down,. Write it down, Write it down.
Chorus:
Have you told the exciting story of the day you met the Lord?
Have you noted each new season as you grow on in His Word?
Have you found a new dimension wherein you can use his sword?
Write it down. Write it down. Write it down.
Chorus:
Have you got a little message and you’d like to make it known?
Would it suit the church newsletter? Or the home group in the town?
Could you possibly relate it so a little seed is sown?
Write it down. Write it down. Write it down.
Chorus:
Have you found a verse that speaks out loud demanding your attention?
Have you listened to a prophecy that brought a new dimension?
Is there not some verse that warms your heart and stirs your adoration?
Write it down. Write it down. Write it down.
Chorus:
Is there a need of thanking Father for his very generous giving?
A list of plans for benefit of other people’s living?
A ;promise Father’s made to you upon which you are waiting?
Write it down. Write it down. Write it down.
Chorus:
Have you things that make you bitter that you’d rather not remember?
Have you aught against somebody who spoke rashly last December/?
Have you pains that you have suffered that are causing you to anger?
Write it down. Rip it up And in Jesus’ Name burn it now!

The rest of the poem was one of the strongest I've read at this level--really, really good.
