Topic: Fire-fighter (10/05/06)
What is a fire-fighter? Today most people associate fire-fighter with women and men saving lives. That is what I seen at frist. But we can be fire-fighters for God.
Fire can mean being on fire for God. Wanting every one to know who he is and what he has done for us. At frist the title made me think of men and women going out and safing lives and puting out fires. But the more I think about it can relate to God.
Think about it God, wants us to be on fire for Him every day. He wants us to fight for what we belive in. He wants us to share his word and truth to other people. So, why cann't we be fire-fighters for God. That is what he wants. He wants us to keep the flame burning for him.

I like your theme. Proofreading more carefully would help you - "I seen" s/b "I saw" and "safing" s/b "saving" for example. But nice job writing out your thought, I enjoyed it.

You brought out a good analogy here. You are exactly right. God wants His fire to burn within us. Keep writing everyday! I would suggest that you proofread your article for spelling and grammer errors before submitting it.

I am sure your intent was well meaning, "to be on fire for God". But to be a "fire-fighter" that would be contradictory to what you are trying to get across. In order to stay on fire for the Lord, I shouldn't fight the fire but embrace it. Keep writing and improving.
