My parents were so glad to enjoy a daughter after having 2 boys--and she was the youngest of grandchildren on her Dad's side of the family.
Take time out to consider your chance to be the spoiled apple in the orchard. We must give ourselves a 'checkup' to see if we are truly lambs of the Great Shepherd.

I can see some ideas here for the start of a story and would have loved to see you expand a little on these ideas.

There is more in you - please release it. You tempt us with a great title, give us a taste and leave us hungry. Try expanding more on your text in order for us to fully understand your message. Don't forget to count your words! I counted 67, which is 83 less than the minimum word count of 150.

I agree with the previous comments. The Writing Challenge instructions clearly state that you "must" have 150 - 750 words. If you obey, you will be blessed. BTW, great title!

Yes Carol, this felt like it was just the barest bones of an outline and that the real story, "Biography of a Brat", was somewhere yet to be revealed. Unfortunately we had to disqualify your entry because at just 63 words it was way under the minimum word count allowance of 150. We do allow a little grace factor, but this was well outside that extra limit as well. It's always so disappointing to have to disqualify an entry, but we have to in order to be completely fair to those who followed the rules. The word count limits are 150 words minimum and 750 words maximum. Please keep rising to the Challenge though - and I'd love to see this thought expanded some day. You just didn't connect how you were spoilt - even though you were the dearly hoped for daughter. You never revealed why that made you the spoiled apple in the orchard.
