Forsake me not, Oh Lord! Lest my
Joy is turned into sadness.
Hold me up each day with Your,
Power and gladness!
Forsake me not when the enemy,
Tries to bend my way.
Safely rescue me, lest I be lead
Into darkness astray!
Forsake me not I know I would,
Whither away and die.
Hear me Lord wipe these tears,
I now cry.
Stay my side as a Shepard who,
Leads his sheep.
Safe and secure leading within his,
His keep.
Forsake me not when temptations,
Assail my soul.
Keep my eyes on You through life's,
Never ending toll.
Hear my prayer of repentance when,
Upon You I call.
Finding mercy and forgiveness when,
Ere I fall.
Forsake me not in this world of,
Dangerous snares.
Keep me from being drawn away,
With earthly cares!
Cover me with Your wings of love,
That I remain true!
Forsake me not in any trouble my,
Peace s found in You.
