Topic: Hope (05/04/06)
I have cancer !
Where then is my hope? As for my hope, who can see it?
Well my friends as an old man once told me If there is life there is HOPE if there is NO LIFE then there is no HOPE.

O K I am still breathing and I can see therefore I must be alive. The cancer hasn’t got me yet.
Umm what next? How am I GOING TO SURVIVE THIS better still am I going to come out of hospital?
Well these were questions I first asked my self when I was first diagnosed nearly two years ago. I am still here!

I can honestly say that my hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ and the immense Love that he showed to us all at the cross all those years ago!
The hope that I have is knowing that even if I don’t survive the threat of dieing from cancer that I will be totally healed and that I am accepted into the family of God and that he will raise me on that joyous day, but mean time if or when I die I will be present with the Lord.
Hope is some thing that you cannot see outright it is something that comes from with in ones self. Hope is the essence of life and with out HOPE one will die!
So my friends if you are struck with a dimension of despair and you are seeing and breathing then you have hope! So hang on to it and breath a life full of Hope that one day you will see glory with the Father in heaven.
If you don’t know the father or his Son then I suggest that you get down on your knees and ask him to fill you with his hope and glory of being in heaven forever more.
Ask him to forgive you for the sins you have committed and that you believe that he is the risen saviour of the world and ask him to come into your live and live it out with you.
Once you have done this then I suggest that you find a bible that you can understand and start reading.
If at this stage it still makes no sense then ask him to enlighten you as to how he wants you to understand his forgiveness of your sins and then my friend go forth in hope that you will see glory in heaven beside the father and son. Amen.

Prayers for your continued peace. Do you have any verses that you could add - some that have helped you stay focused on Jesus? This is a well-written piece.

On the written piece, be sure to check one last time for punctuation, breaking the sentences to make the piece flow smoother. The over all point was made quiet well, showing the hope in the writers heart even in the midst of the trial..
