Topic: Help (02/20/06)
The night is dark and rainy, and I fear I have angered the Lord. Have I pushed too far, fallen too far, crucified the one I love over and over again? The only one who really knows me and loves me? Fear burns through me in waves of heat. The rain pours down eternally through my soul, for I have told them that I did not know Him. I have told them this through my words and actions. I was afraid for myself. Thorns grew where there should have been fruit. The rain continued to fall.
There He found me, in the sea, and I was so excited that I jumped into the black waves to get to Him, not even feeling the shock of the cold water.
Who am I, that He would come to me, the one who claimed not to know Him? He asks if I love Him and I am flooded with gratefulness and His Holy Spirit when I answer again and again, for each time I have sinned, “I love you”.
So, you ask what me purpose is here, you ask me how I should praise Him. He says, “Feed my lambs”, “Feed my sheep”, “Take care of my sheep”.
Praise the Lord, the rain has fallen, and ripe, juicy, fruit will grow. Praise Jesus.

This is beautiful and flows like poetry. I could read more, but I appreciate it as a short, sweet reflection. Good job.

I could feel that your heart was full of the spirit as you wrote this. I really feel that you should try and write this in a poetry format. Bless you for your heartfelt words.

This is wonderful, captures Peter and his struggle with fear of man...and forgiveness...It is like prose...loved it.
