C2 is military speak for command and control. The military uses this term to describe the actions of higher staffs during the course of an engagement. But every leader knows that there is no such thing as real command and control. The old maixm goes that no plan survives first contact with the enemy.

In life, like a great raging battle, we cannot count on control either. There are too many variables that exist. We plan and we plot, but God really has control of our life, through his plan for us.

We each have a perfect example of how we lost control; how our plan was thwarted. I can tell you that I never intended to be here, but my plan failed because he had a better plan for me.

In warfare, Generals know that command and control will fail. They make that determination long ago. They hand down their intent to their subordinates. God hands down his intent through the Bible, even though his will be done on Earth as well as Heaven.
