If you’re anything like me, you have started more projects than you care to count. Lots of started projects…not so many finished ones.

Right now as I write this, there are two scrapbook projects that are waiting for pictures, Christmas stockings that I started making a couple years ago, a pillow that needs buttons, several wall hangings left unfinished, and several picture boards that need to be disassembled from last year’s graduation. Those are just the projects I can see from here. Who knows what else lurks in my “project closet” that I have forgotten?

I’m a dreamer. A starter. A “gee, wouldn’t it be cool to do this?” person.

Come to think of it, I’m the same way with my yard. Lots of magazine pictures have been torn from their pages on wonderful ideas for my future gardens. I have a couple of gardens started from last year that never seemed to get finished.

I’m a dreamer. A starter. A “gee, wouldn’t it be cool to do this?” person.

I wonder if my faith is the same way. Do I have lots of great intentions that somehow seem to fade away? I don’t want to be like that. I want to be the kind of person, in faith, who isn’t just a starter. I want to be the one that goes the distance. Pays attention. Lives obediently. Finishes strong.

I want to be a faith dreamer. A faith finisher. A “gee, it's going to be cool to do this!” person.

I think I can…if I just have faith.
