Life is made up of a series of seasons.

Seasons of joy and happiness. Seasons of sorrow.

Seasons of tuition and following through with the fruits of our learning.

Seasons of peace. Peace with others and our relationships with them.

Peace with our relationship with our heavenly Father. Perfect peace.



As we travel life’s journey we are never short of challenges.

It’s how we confront these trials that set us apart from each other.

There will be many occasions to rejoice and celebrate, however, life isn’t easy for most of us.

We must learn to adapt, to cope with whatever is thrown at us in the storms of life.

Often, we may feel that God is ignoring us. Why doesn’t He intervene sooner? Can’t He hear us?



‘Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.’

~ Joshua 1:9 (NIV)



The truth is that He always hears us. He is aware of the tiniest whisper, the faintest sigh, even our most intimate thoughts. He’s always here, but as we have free will, He allows us to make a choice.



Being heard also has a lot to do with listening, ourselves. When we are prepared to sit still for a while and let God’s heavenly glow waft over us, we will hear Him and realise that through Him we can rise to any occasion and endure the most of anything that this earthly life may bring.



‘Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.’

~ Ephesians 4:2 (NIV)



Additionally, God wants us to help each other through life’s storms. We never need to be alone. ‘No man is an island’, they say. Just as God loves His only son, we must also love each other, and support each other through difficult times. And Our heavenly Father needs one thing of us and one thing only, to love Him unconditionally as He loves us. Once we develop that precious relationship with Him, nothing is impossible.

We certainly do have different seasons of life. I like how you organized your thoughts and brought one point at a time. The only red ink would be to possibly share an anecdote from your own life about how God specifically helped you weather a season of change.

Well done on topic. I loved the bible verses you chose to compliment your thoughts. Your article was very insightful and gave me pause to reflect on the seasons of my life and how my own faith has been built up through my trust in God, who has seen me through all of them.
