Topic: BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD (08/03/17)
In times of struggle, it is always a gracious blessing to meet another human who understands. Someone who feels as I feel, and struggles as I struggle.



Aiding such a soul benefits my own soul greatly.



Unfortunately, with life the way it is, paths diverge over time. Journeys end. Tragically, the other disappears into the fog. May God's Hand guide them, through the darkest of nights.



All the suffering, all the pain, all the trial and travail, has come to naught. I miss the days of fighting. I miss the struggle. I miss helping. I miss being useful to others, even when I feel useless to myself.



Sadly, I must wait for another chance. Another chance to help. Another chance to be useful.



Gazing off into the bleak and unyielding haze, I wait to see a light shine through. I can sense it, and I know it lingers just out of reach, just out of sight. In time, it will appear. I am confident of that.

As we see things change around us, especially those that affect us and our outlook, we need to take advantages of finding rest in a chapter in Ecclesiastes. Chapter 3 starts out with these words: "Ecclesiastes 3:1

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

Remember, God is in control of each of these events. We are to be thankful for his working in our life and in the lives of others. Praise God and be thankful for his control in our life.

You are vary aware of the things around you.

This was very powerful. A great devotional. I would have liked to have seen some specific instance in detail. You have the skills to do it.

It hit the topic well.

You could have taken one person that left. Detail the emotional experiences and it would dynamic.

One hope we all have is that Christ went through and knows all of our trials and he won't ever leave us. What a friend we have in Jesus.

It appears your story goes from bounty to famine, yet hope remains for another chance. You had me wanting to read more to see where this story was leading. Nice job.

As I read I was reminded of some things in Scripture. I was reminded that our hope is in the Lord, and that our eyes must be fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
