I really liked the cat as the main character and doing most of the talking and feeling. He clearly brought a message that is from time to time and place to place necessary. Even though the cat was the main character, the writing was not a child's story.

I liked how well it read and flowed.

Your title already nods at a talking cat or at least one that communicates with humans. Almost like a teaser. Hugh Lofting would smile at the allusion. Just curious why you used "noisy". Unless it was to point at the topic. Actually the cat is knowing, affectionate and non-judgemental. Such an innovative way to address two hairy topics: a marriage that needs more time, love and tenderness (the cat is accorded some blame!) and pornography. I think church cell groups could use this little tale as an opener for discussing these two sensitive issues. Reminds me a little of Ernest Hemingway's Cat in the Rain but this marriage is saved.

Cute idea. I think you needed a transition between para. 3 and 4. Otherwise, well done.
