Topic: EERIE (07/28/16)
I was in a river. It was dark and there was no glow of the moon. There was an eery silence and I recognized something was lurking in the shadows. I looked up and a wire with alligators were hanging and dropping into the river. I had a confidence in God I wouldn’t be harmed.

One-by-one the alligators dropped into the river. Suddenly, one lunged at my heart to devour me. I Peter 5:8-9. He struck with such force that when he slammed into my heart, a loud sound erupted and the alligator bounced off me, knocking him out. When I looked down, a steel-plated cross was sealed into my skin, covering my heart. End of a God-dream in the night.

Job 33:15 states a dream, a vision in the night, deep sleep falls on people sleeping in their beds. It was a dream of love and protection, not fear.

It doesn’t matter what’s lurking day or night, that eerie sense something isn’t right, God shields and protects in every situation.

I'm wondering if you actually had this dream. It sounds like it could be a real dream.

Dreams can be disconnected from reality. Thanks for sharing.

Good morning, Brenda. I hope this is included in the thread where you left your question. This is the first time I've done this.

I wish I had more space to explain that I believe this dream stemmed from two years where God transformed what worship looks like for me. It was such a beautiful beautiful dream and I knew when I woke up it was from God. The Bible is full of stories how God used dreams to speak, direct, warn, encourage people. It's a beautiful way he teaches me when it's the one time of day I can't interrupt Him. Thanks for asking.

Brenda, I should have added another comment to your statement -- "dreams can be disconnected from reality." This dream was symbolic in a similar fashion how God used the cows in Joseph's dream. Symbolic, but the interpretation God gave me from this dream is his protection and a reminder to keep the "breastplate of righteousness" on.
