Topic: Clarify (10/15/15)
I seek the Lord; I yearn for clearer thoughts

At times His thoughts cascade real fast

But sometimes they drip slowly bit by bit

Not knowing when the thoughts will come may help


It must be for my good they’re like a myth

He molds and hones to make a ready tool

Clear thoughts from high; they flood my soul

I will wait gladly on my Lord


Through someone, ideas could come clearly too

He uses godly people or you

to sort out knots and clear my doubts

Too often, issues lie with puny Self


My thoughts I glean from prose and verse

Like heralds, the news they announce

Like springs, tenacious ideas flow

A thought inspire us here and there


The Word, the books and Friends shed light,

illumine minds ; gain God's insight

with prayers; so hand in hand they guide

His hand is clearly active in this side


Some thoughts seem lofty but unclear

,derived from shams, usually snare

Unlike God’s Word, true, sound and wise

Cherish the Word; banish the haze


Do show me Lord Your precious jewels

And make them crystal clear; let me marvel

To follow Your way, narrow may it be

More joy to serve You Lord I pray

This is very nice. One challenge I had, while reading this was that although many of your sentences used beautiful metaphors, others were written in a more colloquial tone and the discordance was unsettling. The overall effect is pleasing, but keeping your article in the same, consistent tone will help its effect increase! Keep writing

Yes, words, thoughts and ideas can come from all sides. We must run them all by what the Bible says so this will follow:.
Do show me Lord Your precious jewels
And make them crystal clear; let me marvel
To follow Your way, narrow may it be
More joy to serve You Lord I pray.

We just have to be careful what we choose to believe and do.
