Topic: COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS (Don't write about the song) (04/16/15)
GOD AND NATURE’S WAY

Counting our blessings is a never-ending process, because whether we see them as blessings or not, we have them each and every day. Our Heavenly Father saw to that before the world was set in motion. God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. (Genesis 1:31) It’s amazing how God loves us so much that He gave us His incredible creation and all that is in it to enjoy.

Sometimes I think we tend to only count our blessings when we experience something extraordinary or a phenomenon, which indeed we should be very grateful for. But if we take a moment to be still, to look, to listen, and taste, we will appreciate the marvelous blessings that are set before us each day, by a loving father who absolutely wants nothing but the best for his children. Blessings come in many forms; the beautiful sunrise at dawn, or a sunset at twilight. The rebirth of spring, the magic of the flower buds waiting to explode into beautiful blooms or listening to the harmony of the birds as they get underway with their spring duties. Our families; special blessings of course are our children and grandchildren to enjoy. He gave us the fruit of the land to eat and keep us healthy. (Genesis 1:29) tells us; Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.” God is the very heart of nature; after all He breathed life into man. Likewise, He made animals to breathe and run in the wild. He is the essence of beauty and nature, of all things great and small. Our God is an awesome God! Let us be thankful each and every day, for this wonderful God we serve and all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. Praise His holy name!

One of the sciptures that comes to mind after reaading your entry is 1 Thess 5:16-18. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you..

This is quite lovely. You do a nice job of writing on topic while delivering a great message.

My only red ink is that I've read several pieces quite similar to yours. On the forums, there is the best writing resource on the Internet called Jan's Writing Basics. Once she gave a lesson about thinking outside the box. She said when you read the topic, write down your first five ideas, then throw them out because it's likely others had those same ideas. It has really helped me to think outside of the box.

Your piece is well-written and a pleasant read. You make some great points and are definitely on topic. Overall, you did a fine job. Keep writing, though because I predict God has great plans for you.
