A SONG IN THE NIGHTl

Life’s problems are crushing; I’ve no place to go.
Hallelujah it is well with my soul.
Challenges keep coming, things are out of control;
But praise God it is well with my soul.

I may lose my job, and the bills overflow;
Hallelujah it is well with my soul,
Pantry shelves are empty, and gas prices soar;
But praise God it is well with my soul.

To sorrow no stranger, my heart breaks once more.
Hallelujah it is well with my soul.
I mourn for the loved one, who’s gone on before;
But praise God it is well with my soul.

Troubles abound and health care may fail.
Hallelujah it is well with my soul.
Investments collapse and health fades away;
But praise God it is well with my soul.

I have an anchor in Jesus my Lord;
Hallelujah it is well with my soul.
He never fails me; He gave me His Word.
Praise God! It is well with my soul.


I’ll trust Him no matter what life brings my way.
Hallelujah it is well with my soul.
I’ll love Him and praise Him through all of my days;
Praise God it is well with my soul.
