Jesus is the bread of life. His words, His promises, and a true relationship with our Father will surely fill your spirit in all you do. There is no need for gluttony of any sort when you are filled with the spirit of God. John 6:35 says, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” The Great I AM, Jesus Christ, is all we need. When there is a hunger or deep desire for closeness to God, many of us fast and pray. We are placing Jesus as food for our body; therefore, telling our Father that He is all we need.
Gluttony, on the other hand, is placing an overconsuming desire in something above our Father in heaven. It leads to many other sins. Ungraciousness is birthed from gluttony by the fact that when something is consumed repeatedly and with abundance, even when giving thanks for what is being consumed, there is a natural tendency to come to expect what is being given. Gluttony produces idolatry, placing a desire of something other than The Lord above all else. In the present day and time, food has become our idol.
To not become overconsuming in any one thing is a constant battle in life and is a shortcoming of us all. Awareness is the first step in breaking this destructive mentality. Praying to our Lord in heaven, Jesus Christ, for help in this area is our only and best victory in winning this battle.

You could have had more ideas on how to control what is eaten and how much is eaten. Like: don't eat out. Don't purchase favorite foods or have someone else do the food shopping. Don't purchase snack foods.
If the food is not purchased, it can't be available to eat.
