It’s best to think before you act.
This is true, it is a fact.
When you regret what you have done,
Face palm may be your reaction.
Adam and Eve felt great remorse
When from Eden God did them force.
After in anger Cain did act
God sent him on a lonely track.
Noah ran from God’s direction,
Face palmed in the whales’s mid-section.
Sarai gave Abram her handmaid
And many problems thus were made.
Esau sold his birthright for stew,
A decision he learned to rue.
To Delilah Samson gave in
Sightless lived to regret his sin.
For water Moses struck the rock
But God said he should just talk.
The Promised Land Moses did miss.
Now a face palm moment is this?
David, a man after God’s own heart
In adultery and murder took part.
To his credit, he did repent.
Still consequences were sent.
Things happen that we can’t control,
Sickness, sorrow take their toll.
Suffer many a loss we may,
A face palm reaction today.
God is always there by our side.
Whatever happens, He’ll abide.
